In Japan Day 8

Shinkansen to Tokyo! I took my Alpaca friend! I took a whole bunch of food pictures too haha. I fell asleep on the Shinkansen since I was tired from the night before, but oh well! I woke up an hour before we arrived and saw some amazing sights out of the window- the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Tokyo and it's so beautiful! Rows upon rows of them!

We are staying in Shinjuku and the view from our hotel is amazing. Shinjuku seems like a great central location and the food places are brill, had a lot of good eats here already.

In Japan Day 7

Day 7 was mostly a chill day, because on Day 8 we are on our way to Tokyo. We went to Den Den Town again because the first time, we didn't really have enough time. We went in some of the cosplay stores and the retro game shops and I wanted to spend all my money right there, haha. After that, we went to party in Dotonbori and we met a really nice lass called Tashii, who was also on holiday! Brill night out, went to Karaoke after that and crashed out haha.

In Japan Day 6

Day 6, we went to Osaka Castle in the morning. It was a beautiful day, really hot and the sun was shining! More of the cherrys had come out, so I took some more pictures. The castle itself was really pretty, and you could go inside and it had a museum. You could also go to the top and look out across Osaka! This is somewhere I wanted to go last time but we didn't have time, so I'm really glad I managed to go this time. Kyra finally got to eat Takoyaki, a famous Osaka delicacy of octopus fried in batter. Omnomnom!

Later in the afternoon, we headed on to Osaka Aquarium which was really huge, and they had some really cool stuff. They even had a whale shark thing! It was huge! My favourite are definitely the jellyfish though, they are so pretty. There was a proper fat seal thing though as well which was amazing! He was just chillin' there looking at everyone and it made me laugh. The Aquarium is massive, so it took the whole afternoon up.

In Japan Day 5

Today, we went to Kobe. Kobe is a really chill place and it was cool to just relax there. We walked around and we got on a boat! I wanted to do that last time but they were all closed. So, ice cream in hand we walked around Kobe feeling the sea breeze and relaxing. The boat took us around the port city which was really cool. Kobe has a port tower as you can see here; it felt small in comparison to the Umeda Sky Building! We went up it and had a look out; there was a rotating cafe as well which was cool, always wanted to do that!

At the top, I think you can get married, or something. There were padlocks with names and dates on! I took a picture of them. Matt sampled some Kobe beef which was amazing, and I won a ridiculous giant Alpaca plushie in one of the arcades.

In Japan Day 4

On day 4, we went to Kyoto. It was amazing! I wish we could have spent a little more time there. In the morning, we had a Meiko Makeover. It was really fun. The wig was so heavy! I couldn't be a Meiko for more than a couple of hours. The photographer was really funny, I had to wear silly shoes and nearly fell over and crushed the poor bloke hah. Kyoto is so beautiful! After the Meiko photoshoot, we went to a nearby shrine. I was chatting to the lady from the Meiko place on the way out and she said it's very beautiful, we'd already stumbled across it that morning so we thought we'd check it out. It had gardens and some cherry blossoms were blooming!

After that, we headed on over to Fushimi Inari Shrine. It was night time, and it looked so awesome lit up. It was completely quiet as well; barely any tourists! It's a climb to the top and we only got so far but the view was amazing. The tori gates were so nice at night. I managed to get seom really nice pictures there!
